Best Things To Do In Tulum, Mexico

Tulum is a DREAM!!

With its white sand beaches, stunning blue waters, amazing food and vibes, it is a paradise.

Take a dip in a Cenote

Cenote is a sink hole resulting from a collapse of limestone bedrock that exposes the ground, and it was one of the most incredible things that we had ever seen.

Mexico has over 6,000 cenotes and we were able to explore two of those, Dos Ojos and Gran Cenote.

We took a dip in the cenote, and swimming in the crystal clear water in the caves was truly magical.

Dos Ojos which means two eyes in English has 2 cenotes close to each other and both are absolutely amazing. It's also one of the most extravagant diving sites in Yutacan peninsula.

Gran Cenote is one of the most popular cenote just outside Tulum, but make sure to be an early bird to visit this cenote as it gets really crowded.

There is an entrance fee to visit the cenote, and the fee varies for each cenote. Some cenotes also charge an additional fee for DSLR's and other camera equipments.

Relax by the beach

You cannot leave Tulum without spending a few days at the beach.

Tulum has some of the world's most beautiful beaches. With long stretches of white sand, turquoise blue water, beautiful palm trees, it's a beach bum's paradise.

If you are feeling a bit more adventurous, you can also do snorkelling, parasailing, flyboard, scuba diving, kayaking, the list goes on.

Indulge in Mexican cuisine

In my opinion, food is one of the best ways to explore a country and its culture and Mexican food is one of the most famous and tastiest cuisines in the world!

So indulge in the deliciousness of Mexican cuisines from Tacos, burritos, empanadas, tamales, marquesitas and don't forget to try the different flavours of Jarritos. Some of our favourite cafes are - Chouxchoux Cafe, Burrito Amor (for the best burrito ever!!), Matcha Mama.

Explore boutique shops in Tulum

Tulum has many small & cute boutiques, selling beautiful clothing & accessories, decor, handcrafted artworks from various designers around the world.

You can find everything from vibrant fashion to boho-chic inspirations.
